ABOUT DARIA
Daria Nadeem is a Pakistani and Afghani artist from Chicago, Illinois. She first began shooting on film and VHS when she was 9 years old, and wrote & directed her first short film at age 14. In recent years, she has decided to explore her passion for apparel and accessories - thus creating the HOMESICK by Daria official shop for merchandise.
Her photo and video work is widely influenced by her upbringing in the beautiful, multicultural neighborhood of Rogers Park, Chicago as well as her travels across the American Midwest and the ancient Greek Islands during her formative years.
Her solo work seeks to invoke the complicated melancholic emotions buried deep within all of us and bring them forward.
